Great motion picture tie-in premium book circa 1938. This was published by the Whitman Publishing Company in conjunction with Bergen & McCarthy's appearance in "The Goldwyn Follies."
Includes 32 pages of photos from the film plus interesting "commentary" on Charlie's day. The final page features advice from Edgar Bergen himself on how to become a ventriloquist. Unusual 9" x 10" format, softbound with bright cover graphics.
This book is more than 80 years old and is usually found in relatively poor condition. This particular one is EXCEPTIONAL... the condition is Very Fine +. It comes from the late Stan Burns' estate. (Pardon the photo - this book is over-sized and will not fit on my scanner, so I took a photo. A bad one!)
Will be supplied in a plastic sleeve with backboard for protection.
