MULTIPLYING MARTINI BOTTLES - 12 Bottle Set

        Here’s a fine set of Multiplying Bottles from Kali Magic (the late Klaus Linker) of Holland. These top quality bottles have not been available for a number of years.

        This set is made the *proper* way (unlike most sets available today with only two nests of multiple bottles). There are *three* nests of four bottles each, allowing one to perform the classic Ken Brooke comedy routine. (Look for Ron Wilson or Denny Haney performing this on YouTube). The Brooke routine requires only nine bottles (three nests of three) so you can remove the smallest (or largest) bottle from each nest if you wish, or leave it in and expand the routine. The smallest bottle in each nest features a chamber for a liquid load, enabling the performer to pour a glass of real liquid to toast the audience at the finale of the routine.

        The tubes are the original heavy cardboard tubes that came with the set. Personally, I would replace them with PVC tubing you can pick up at your local hardware store. Use a nice, self-adhesive shelving paper in whatever color or design you prefer for the exterior. You can even purchase self-adhesive chrome tape or mylar if you want silver tubes.

        The bottles are a nice, heavy gauge spun aluminum. They have a high gloss finish that look like glass. This is a beautiful, high quality set with features clearly designed for the working pro.

        This set has been used, but it has also been *extremely* well cared for. There are minor dings around the mouths of some of the bottles as well as a few of the labels showing some wear, but nothing that affects the working or even the appearance from more than a couple of feet away. In fact, from just a few feet away, the set appears brand new. Unlike many sets, the three largest bottles in each nest are extremely similar in size. Even when the bottles are placed near each other, they all appear to be the same size. This is a fantastic illusion. (See photos)

        I will include a photocopy of the seminal Ken Brooke routine, which should be the jumping off point for any serious student of this classic effect.

        Denny Haney sold Kali sets like this when they were available. The nine bottle sets were standard; the 12 bottles sets were a special order. The last time I remember these being available, the list price was $550.00. Because this set is mildly used, I'm asking only....
