First of all...I've gotta say I *LOVE* the catchy title!

          The late Ray Alan was one of the finest vents I ever had the privilege of seeing. His technique was impeccable and his character creation of Lord Charles was....well, also impeccable! His passing was a loss not only to vents everywhere, but to the entertainment community at large.

          This is the only edition of this book, published in Great Britain in 1987. This book features relatively simplistic explanations of the various techniques of vent, but they do the job quite well! An adult would easily learn from this, but it's also "kid-friendly"...you could give this book to a nine year old child and he'd "get it!" Also contains a wonderful section on making several different types of vent novelty puppets, plus how to build an actual vent figure (all fully illustrated). Finally, there's a section called "Putting It Into Practice" in which you are given a number of sample dialogues with which to develop your new vent partner! Really clever... and really quite good!

          Book measures 8-3/4" x 8-1/4" with full-color photographic softcover. 61pp. This is a great vent title that is SCARCE, particularly in the U.S.

         Condition is GOOD. It is a former library book and has a small piece clipped from the front (blank) page. In addition, there is a slight amount of sticker residue on the upper right front cover, and the lower right front cover is slightly dog-eared.  I normally sell this hard-to-find book for much more...but due to the stated issues....you may buy it for only:
