Payment and Shipping Info
I accept PayPal, credit cards, checks, money orders and cash (though I really prefer to take cash only when you're buying from me in person!).
If you have a PayPal account, you likely already know how it works and you already know how easy it is to use. If you don't have a PayPal account, you may wish to check it out at www.PayPal.com.
If you do not have or wish to set up a PayPal account but wish to use a credit card to pay for your order, it's no problem! You may call my secure ordering line and speak to me personally. If I'm not available to take the call personally, you're welcome to leave your payment information in the secure voicemail system. When leaving credit card information, you must give me all of the following: Complete card number, expiration date, name as it appears on the card, zip code where you receive your bills and the CSC security code (the three digits on the back of the credit card next to the signature box). Please also remember to leave your contact information, including your e-mail address, your return telephone number and the best time to reach you via telephone.
For payment via personal check or money order, please call to make certain the items you want are available and to reserve them. I'll then take your items out of the on-line inventory so no one else can order the item via the website payment system. Checks and money orders should be made payable to "Tom Ladshaw" and mailed to the address shown on the "Contact Us" page.
I've tried to keep the shipping fees as economical as possible. As of January 2016, I've raised the basic shipping fee. I hated to do it, but I haven't raised my shipping fees since the site went live, yet the post office has raised their rates FIVE times in that time!
I can ship MOST anything you might want from my site via U.S. Priority Mail. The new Flat Rate for this or for larger book orders via Media Mail is $7.50. This includes postage, the very best packaging materials, etc.
Occasionally, there will be an item (a puppet or figure, for instance) that will be more expensive to ship. Generally, the additional shipping costs will be detailed in the item description. In those special cases, you'll be responsible for the additional shipping cost. I always try to use the most economical shipping method available while keeping in mind that you want your order as quickly as possible.
Special Circumstances - Occasionally, you may order something that can be mailed first class for only a few dollars. In that case, I will gladly refund the additional "flat rate" postage you've paid.
Orders for regular merchandise that total $150.00 or more will be shipped to you at no charge! NOTE -- The exceptions to this are "special" items (i.e., puppets) and those occasional exceptions will be noted in the item description.
Each package is shipped with tracking info, but I do not automatically insure packages. If you wish to have your shipment insured, please let me know and I'll determine the exact fee so you can add it to your payment.
For orders outside the U.S., postage will be determined on an individual (per order) basis. If you live outside the Continental U.S., just let me know which items you want and I'll try to offer several shipping options.
