SILKEN LADY – Ton Onosaka

        OK...who doesn't love Ton Onosakas's clever magic? Bright, colorful props and clever methods are his hallmarks! This is one of my favorite Onosaka tricks to demonstrate. It's meant to be a parlor or platform (even stage) effect, but it's a real fooler, even up close!

        The performer cleanly and clearly shows three jumbo cards: Two black 10’s and one red card...the Queen of Hearts. The backs and fronts of all three cards are clearly shown. The Queen is placed in the middle of the “fan” of two spot cards. The fan is closed, then the performer reaches up and pulls a red silk from the bottom of the cards! The cards are fanned once again and it is seen that the center card - the Queen - is GONE!...  The two  cards may be displayed again, front and back! The Queen has apparently transformed into a lovely red silk hanky!

        This is an extremely visual effect for virtually any type of show and any type of audience! And the best part is, it's SO easy to do! As I like to say (when it's appropriate!): If you can hold the cards, you can do the trick! No sleights, no fumbling, no NOTHIN'. It's REALLY just THAT clean!
