The effect is clear and powerful; the method is ingenious in its simplicity. In other words, it totally blows away your audience and requires no skill or sleight of hand to successfully pull it off. Just wait until you go out with the Twisted Sisters.

          The performer displays two packets of face down Bicycle cards. One packet is red backed and the other is blue backed. The packets are tabled and a spectator is allowed to select either of the packets. No magician's choice! The spectator is asked to imagine that his packet contains the four Queens. He is asked to think of any one of the four queens but to keep the identity to himself. A second spectator is directed to the remaining packet, and like the first spectator is allowed to think of a different queen. Now, without touching the cards, the performer claims he has caused the two selections to transpose. The first spectator names his card, the performer spreads the packet, and the queen he merely thought of is reversed in the packet! This astounding feat is repeated with the second spectator.

          The performer points out that if each spectator's queen really traveled across, then the backs of the selected queens would have also traveled across. The face up queen in the red packet is turned over, it has a blue back. The face up queen in the blue packet is turned over and it has a red back. The performer points out that it is a good thing the spectators chose those particular queens because all the rest of the cards are all BLANK! And then you naturally turn them face up to prove it.
