The special bulb used for this trick appears to be an ordinary, older - style incandescent bulb. The bulb has been cleverly modified to enable you to create miracles. The bulb itself is real, with a real glass globe, metal base and with real tungsten filaments. When in operation, the bulb will generate realistically bright light as well as heat. The gimmick is incredibly well hidden, making it reliably safe to offer to your audience for inspection.

          I'm very proud of this! This is truly one of those rarely-offered "reputation-making" effects!  And the beautiful thing is, there are SO many possible presentations with it! The Edison's Ghost routine involves a story about who created the first incandescent light bulb. An informal seance is held and the true inventor of the bulb reveals himself in a most magical and startling way... The bulb itself mysteriously lights while a spectator holds it wrapped inside a handkerchief! This can be played as a truly spooky seance-type presentation, or it may be offered tongue in cheek. Either way, it's an effect your audience will not soon forget!

          I also include instructions for another blockbuster trick with it... The spectator shuffles a deck and removes a card that will be his selection and notes it. He then removes several more cards and mixes the small packet together. Even HE doesn't know which of the face-down cards is his. He lays these cards face-down in a row on the table. He is handed the bulb for examination along with a handkerchief. After examining the bulb, he wraps it in the handkerchief and is instructed to momentarily hold the bulb over each face-down card. It mysteriously lights up over one card only... and when this card is turned face up, it is seen to be the spectator's selection! Keep in mind, you never see any of the faces of the cards. And with the exception of you handing the deck and the bulb to the spectator, it is completely hands-off for you! The spectator does all of the work. This effect alone can be a signature piece for the serious close up worker!

          Many presentations are possible, and with just a few minutes' use, you'll no doubt come up with ideas of your own.  Use it for Living and Dead tests, Lie Detector routines, etc. It is incredibly versatile!

          As I stated previously, I'm extremely proud of this entire outfit. This is similar in effect to the old Scott York Light bulb trick, but it is taken to the NEXT level.
