          The classic Dye Tube is a "must have" gimmick for any performer interested in working with silks.  The hand-held gimmick enables you to perform highly visual color changes while continuously showing your hands empty! You can magically "dye" (hence, the name) a white silk to any other color...and vice versa! You can even perform sucker routines, such as the comedy classic "Half-Dyed Hank" routine, in which a white silk and a red silk get "exposed" halfway through the color change to reveal a silk that is diagonally colored half red and half white (see link below for a fantastic version of this effect)!

          This latest version of the old "Chameleon Silk" gimmick has been updated and improved for professional use.  The gimmick has been made MUCH larger, for use with much larger silks, offering greater visibility in larger venues. In addition, the gimmick has been manufactured from a soft vinyl/rubber, which makes it much easier to grip and handle. Instead of the original "straight tube" design, this updated gimmick has an "inflated" center.  This allows for a much greater capacity than in the past.  In addition to this larger capacity feature, the two open ends of the gimmick are DIFFERENT sizes, making it easier to determine (without looking) which end is which, if that plays a part in the handling of your routine. The ends also have tiny interior "lips" that hold the silks in place. Finally, what may be a useful feature for some of you is one my old friend Mark Phillips pointed out: The gimmick is pliable, which makes thumb-palming it a breeze!

          This deluxe gimmick will hold two 18" silks! In the past, Chameleon Silk gimmicks could hold only one small silk!  This updated gimmick will dynamically change your performance possibilities!
