This is just the sort of routine a real "worker" is always looking for!  It's ideal for a feature spot in you show, yet also is the perfect "one-off" trick when you're only doing one routine. It's especially desirable if you're an emcee and looking for a great single bit to do between other acts!         This ultra-commercial routine is the perfect addition to the repertoire of any stand-up magician. It may be used to open your show, transition into intermission or as a feature "personality piece". It's also ideal as a backup routine for those unexpected moments, and if you ever work as an emcee, it's a MUST.

        The Jumbo Comedy Card is a LARGE (8-1/4" X 11-3/4") card that is big enough to be seen by even the largest of audiences. This card is introduced as a "special prediction" that is displayed openly or held by a spectator for the duration of your show. It may be attached to a mic stand, placed in a chair in full view at all times, etc. When you're ready to use it, you'll have a spectator select a card. You then then turn over your prediction (or remove it from an envelope) to show it says "YOUR CARD." As the audience doesn't seem impressed, you tell them this was just a joke and explain how their card is actually inside the prediction.

        You now open up the Jumbo Comedy Card and show it to just the on-stage spectator. They will confirm their card is there. While this impresses your audience at first, they laugh when you turn it around to show that the card actually has all 52 cards printed on it! 

        Just as everyone starts to wonder if you're just playing a "dad joke" on them, you ask the spectator to say out loud what their card was. They do, then you then open up the prediction all the way to show that you knew the playing card the whole time. In fact, it's printed large enough for an entire stadium-sized audience to see!
