Here’s a perfect routine for the solo standup performer. It can play as big as you want with several spectators, and may easily be a feature part of your show. It became one of my signature routines for a number of years.
          The magician shuffles a pack of cards (which may be borrowed). He has a spectator choose a card - no force - and has the card signed. The card is placed back into the deck which the spectator shuffles. Meanwhile, the Magician removes a wallet from his pocket and hands it to another spectator.
          The magician says he will wager what’s in the wallet that he can correctly guess the spectator’s chosen card. He guesses a card and... misses! Badly!
          The magician now has the spectator holding the wallet verify that it is zippered completely shut. The spectator is instructed to unzip the wallet. Two stiff pieces of cardstock are now removed from the wallet. The pieces of card are STAPLED together around all four sides. One end of this cardstock “envelope” is torn away. The envelope is bowed open and the spectator is instructed to reach inside with his fingers and remove what he finds. Inside is the spectator’s selected *signed* card!

          Supreme Magic of England originally produced this beautiful leather in 1976. I personally used this exact routine in my banquet show for many years.

          The special real leather wallet comes complete with Supreme’s usual detailed instructions. In fact, this particular set of instructions runs 7 pages and includes *many* additional ideas and presentations that you can incorporate into your own show. You can use the cardstock pieces as in the original presentation, or you can simply use any ordinary envelope that will fit inside the wallet. In this respect, it’s exactly the same as a signed card in sealed envelope in wallet (though the addition of the staples really elevates this effect into the miracle class!). It may also be used for the Terry Seabrooke burnt banknote routine. It’s a wonderfully versatile wallet that is ideal for parlor, platform, and even stage performers.

          As the late, great Ken Brooke used to say, “If you paid twice the amount I am asking, you’d still be receiving value for your money.” Of course, he might not have said that about his rival Supreme’s item, but you get the idea. Believe me, the first time you hear the spectators’ collective gasp when they realize the spectator’s signed card is coming out of an envelope that’s been stapled together (that itself came out of a zippered wallet someone else was holding), you’ll realize you really would’ve been happy to pay *double* the amount of money for this wonderful prop!  

        In near-mint condition and ready to use (If it had the original instructions and envelopes with it, I'd call it *mint*).  NOTE: This comes complete with a photocopy of the original instructions, and, as usual, Supreme's instructions are incredibly detailed with a number of additional ideas for presentation. As a BONUS, I am also including the instructions for Jennings/LePaul wallets from TWO ADDITIONAL sources... a total of SIXTEEN PAGES of instructions on this amazing worker's wallet.  These instructions are the equivalent of a booklet, solely on this type of wallet and its MANY capabilities! (The instructions alone are worth $$$ to the serious worker!).

          Unavailable for many years.  If this one was ever used at all, it certainly wasn't used much!
