This is one of the all-time classic "apparatus magic" effects.  It's BIG...it's FLASHY...it's a BAFFLER...and it's EASY TO DO!  What more could you want in a routine?

          You receive a clear tube with metallic ends, which rests in a wooden base --  a colorful metal tube that covers the clear tube -- a wooden box with a large door on opposite sides -- and finally, three brightly-colored balls, each one 3 inches in diameter and a different color.
          The 3" balls are Red, Yellow and Green, which match the design on the cover of the metal tube. These colors allow for different presentations (the most obvious being a stop light). Although there is only enough room in the tube for the three balls stacked vertically, the ball placed on top of the first two magically appears on the bottom or in the center of the stack of three.

          The Red ball is the ball that likes to do the "wandering". After the Red ball has magically appeared in the "wrong" position in the clear tube several times, it is placed into the box.  With a snap of the fingers, the box is immediately flipped opened, showing it to be completely EMPTY!  And when the metal tube is lifted away from the clear tube... the Red ball is seen back inside the clear tube BETWEEN the other two balls, just where it should be!

         Manufactured by the now-defunct MAK Magic for many years as "Stratosphere" or "Strat-O-Spheres", this is the new version with updated magnetic catches on the doors of the box and beautiful updated graphics.
