This wonderful little utility item used to be a standard prop in every close-up worker's case and a great "bit" in every close-up worker's repertoire.  Albert Goshman made a feature out of it!!  And now?  Sadly, this isn't seen too much anymore.  And that's a  TRUE shame, as it creates a WONDERFUL and WHIMSICAL piece of magic.  And those two attributes are exactly what makes magic MEMORABLE in the minds of spectators!
