This is the 1906 Penn Publishing Company first edition of
this classic text on vent. This in-depth book covers "near" vent (with
figures, etc.), "Natural" vent (voices from the ceiling, basement,
closet, etc.) and Polyphony. Also included is a substantial selection of
dialogues. The section on the distant voice in particular is excellent
and in-depth. The Edwardian-era illustrations and photographs are
200+pp, hardcover. Measures approximately 4-1/2" x 5-3/4" .
VERY FINE + condition (still bright and tight!) with only minor corner bumping. Some cover rubbing. This originally belonged to the well-known vent Prof. Samuel Lingerman of Philadelphia and his his stickers in it, including one with his show pricing! Comes in an archival
