Back about 1990, someone came up with the clever idea to do a series of "collector's cards" featuring many of the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They approached the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and got the Chamber's blessing. So they had a series of these cards printed. I don't know how many different cards were printed, but Bergen and Winchell were included in the series.

          It wasn't long before a serious problem developed. While the creators of the cards - "Starline, Inc." - had cleared everything with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, they hadn't actually bothered to get permission from the estates of those whose likenesses they used! Ooops. That's a big "no-no"...especially in Hollywood, where many people earn their living off of dead celebrities estates! So...the cards were recalled and destroyed. Well, most of them were, anyway. I did manage to snag a few!

          Card measures 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" and is printed in full color. The front is a portrait of Bergen and Charlie with the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" logo. The verso of the card contains a bit of biographical info on Bergen, a few career highlights and a trivia question and answer.

          The card is in MINT condition. It's in a plastic protective sleeve so it stays mint, too! SCARCE!
