        After showing a black satin hanky on both sides to be absolutely ordinary, you shake it. Visually and visibly, white spots magically appear on both sides!

        This can be performed the other way, too!. A black satin hanky covered with white polka dots is shown and then shaken. The spots fly everywhere as the silk becomes black on both sides! Next, you can pick up a handful of spots from a tray, throw them in the air, and ss they descend, the hanky is shaken to cause the spots magically reappear on the hanky!

        This baffles audiences and looks great!  Originally created by Prof. Alberto Sitta of Italy, this is a CLASSIC silk effect. And it's SO easy to do... If you can hold a silk by its corner and shake it, you can do the trick!
