"Double Talk - The Ventriloquist's Guide" was the very FIRST magazine published for ventriloquists. The brainchild of figuremaker Revello Petee, he published and edited the magazine for two short years...from 1937 into 1939. The initial issues were mimeographed on cheap paper...the second volume was in a smaller format and offset printed on glossy stock.
This wonderful issue of Double Talk features a script by A.L. Dauer, a fantastic article on "Showmanship" by Revello Petee, the "Masked Ventriloquist" column, plus columns by Revello, Richard Haldane from Canada , Chucky Koontz, and more.
Lots of GREAT reading in this one! 14pp, 8-1/2" x 11" magazine.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a PHOTOCOPY (thus the less expensive price than the originals). As a rule, I don't sell photocopies, but I got this one in a collection of D.T. magazines, and as they're so rare, I thought I'd offer this one for the collector who needs it (at least until they find an original!)
Comes in an archival mylar sleeve with acid-free backboard.
